HYDERABAD: The people of Hyderabad celebrated Culture Day (Topi and Ajrak Day) with enthusiasm and festivity on Friday like other parts of the province.
Various organizations including political parties and affiliated youth and cultural wings took out cultural rallies from different parts of Hyderabad City, Latifabad, Qasimabad and Hyderabad Rural Talukas which after marching different routes passed out in front of Hyderabad Press Club.
At Hyderabad Press Club, the speakers of the organizations and political parties including Pakistan Peoples Party highlighted the importance of the day and called upon the people to forge unity with display of customs and culture of the province so that the people of other parts of the world could aware about the rich culture and traditions of Sindh.
The participants of the rallies wearing Sindh Cap and Ajrak also danced on cultural songs highlighting the importance of culture and customs of Sindh.
