ISLAMABAD: German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler Wednesday, expressing pleasure over announcement of Bill Gates to invest in Pakistan’s information technology sector, said he is looking forward to “Pakistan Silicon Valley”.
In a tweet on his social media account said: “Good news coming in for Pakistan. great that Bill Gates wants to invest in IT sector. Looking forward towards ‘Pakistan Silicon Valley.”
It may be mentioned that the Silicon Valley, in the southern San Francisco Bay Area of California, US, is home to many start-up and global technology companies.
In another tweet, German envoy expressed the optimism that Pakistan will eliminate menace of polio and said: WHO & Gates Foundation together with the people of Pak can end polio. Germany also contributes to Polio eradication.”
