ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House in the Senate, Raja Zafarul Haq here on Friday strongly denounced the Indian firing on the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary.
Speaking in the Senate he said the army has effectively responded to the Indian aggression.
As a result, there is reduction in fire from the other side in the last two three days. He assured the government will fully look after the families of martyrs.
Raja Zafarul Haq rejected the impression that the government has not issued any statement against the Indian hostility. He said these statements will be presented before the house.
Earlier on a point of order, Babar Awan proposed that the House should hold discussion on the situation. Raja Zafar Haq asked the chair to fix an earliest possible date for threadbare discussion on the matter.
