RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 51345.03 with a negative change of 166.38 and volume of 26,764,170 shares.

High and Low were 51570.29 and 51321.84 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 158,243,190 shares with 353 total traded companies out of which 202 were up, 202 were down and 16 were unchanged.

TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,386,500 shares. It was followed by CHEMICAL with a total traded volume of 21,343,800 shares.

The three top traded companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 25,372,000 and price per share of 3.46 (0.26), Engro Polymer with a volume 11,659,000 of price per share of 31.40 (0.39), Dewan Motors with a volume 5,824,500 of price per share of 52.70 (0.83).

The top three advancers were Nestle Pakistan with price per share 10000.00 (350.00), Shield Corp. with price per share of 658.00 (27.88) and Archroma Pak share of 780.00 (25.20).

The top three decliners were Sapphire FiberXD with price per share of 1265.00 (61.68), Sanofi-AventisXD with price per share of 2100.00 (19.50) and Mari Petroleum per share of 1611.23 (16.23).
