Pakistan International Airline (PIA) staff, who were detailed in London after heroin recovered from Islamabad bound flight, has reached home on Thursday.

According to Geo News, around a dozen and a half crew members reached Karachi airport from London early Thursday morning via PK-788.

The captain of the flight [PK-785] had returned to Pakistan on Wednesday.

Upon their arrival, the crew was debriefed by the PIA Vigilance GM and then allowed to exit the airport after their statements were recorded.

It is pertinent to mention here that, On May 15, British authorities’ Border Force officers had found a "quantity of heroin" on board a PIA flight that landed at Heathrow Airport.

Dawn news quoted the authorities saying National Crime Agency officials were investigating the case after the seizure of narcotics from the plane.

"No arrests have been made, inquiries are ongoing,” an official associated with the agency told the channel.
