More than just a Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts was successfully named as the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Woman’ by the People Magazine for the fifth time.

The award-winning actress already made it to the list back in 1991, 2000, 2005 and in 2010 and now again covering the spot after seven years.

26 years ago Julia Roberts was featured for the first time on the cover of People’s World’s Most Beautiful Issue and she has effectively managed to keep her named years later. The actress who still finds it hard to digest says, “I am very flattered”, as reported by foreign media.

Roberts even defeated George Clooney who was named as People’s Sexiest Man Alive for two times. Roberts joked, “I’m going to mention that in my Christmas card to the Clooneys this year.”

While discussing about her secrets regarding her ageless beauty, the 49-year-old actress believes that the best is yet to come saying, “I think I’m currently peaking.”

The actress who gained immediate recognition after she worked for the romantic comedy Pretty Woman discussed about it quoting, “People say, ‘Oh, when Pretty Woman came out it must have really changed your life,’ and it’s kind of become this joke, but the truth is I was out of town when Pretty Woman came out. I was in another movie in this tiny little town that was showing Star Wars in its first run. I remember reading … ‘Pretty Woman came out this weekend and made this much money’ and I thought, ‘Is that a lot of money? Is that good? Is that great?’ I didn’t really know.”
