imageISLAMABAD: Economist Dr. Shahid Hasan Siddiquie has said that present government has seriously worked on the issue of energy crisis and it was a good decision to end the circular debt within 60 days.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that dams were long term projects and government should concentrate on the long term as well as short term projects.

Energy Expert Dr. Gulfaraz Ahmad also said that it will be a great achievement of present government if they overcome the circular debt in 60 days.

He further said that government should concentrate on the option of hydel power and using gas instead of oil because electricity produced from oil is most expensive.
