imageWho says dreams arent meant to be lived; meet Hanan Khan Achakzai, who cooks parathas in a Karachi hotel, has finally made into PCBs Pakistan Cricket Academy and has been selected for two Twenty20s against Malaysia.

Hanan, who works 12 hours a day at a local hotel in Karachi making parathas, has been called for the National Cricket Academy's (NCA) team to play two T20 matches against Malaysian cricket team.

"I am really happy to get this chance," Hanan said, reported Dawn News."When the first telephone call came from Lahore, I was playing a match. Later I called back and was informed about my selection.

Hailing from Chaman in Balochistan, the left-handed batsman grabbed attention after he made into the Under 19 squad of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Quetta Gladiators, before becoming part of the NCA team.

Hanan however aims big and desires to represent the national side one day. This is how step by step I will reach the national team and will represent Pakistan one day through my performance, he said.

The two Twenty20 matches between PCB XI and Malaysia will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on January 14 and 15.
