Pakistan sultan of swing the legendry Wasim Akram would now offer his services to the Sri Lankan fast bowlers, as the former Pakistan captain will be on a brief tour to the island nations later this month to help Sri Lankan players improve their balling skills.
(Wasim) Akram, who captained Pakistan in two World Cups, and was the Man of the Match in the 1992 final when Imran Khans side beat England at the MCG, will conduct training sessions for fast bowlers apart from addressing the coaching staff of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), reported the Island Cricket.
The Sultan of Swing, Wasim Akram is considered a role model for many regarded as one of the best fast bowler of his generation.
Since retirement from playing cricket, Wasim has been active pursuing coaching and consulting career, he was the bowling coach for Kolkata Knight Riders and at the moment is Director of Pakistan Super Leagues Islamabad United.
