SIALKOT: President International Cricket Council Zaheer Abbas on Monday said that use of pink cricket ball was actively under consideration.
Talking to APP at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) the ICC President stated that day and night five one day cricket matches would be played which could be enjoyed by families in the evening.
Earlier,while addressing members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI),he stressed upon the business community of Sialkot to focus on the construction of "5 Star" hotel in their export-oriented city. He said such a facility would also benefit foreign businessmen and cricket teams.
He lauded the efforts of business community of Sialkot for the construction of Sialkot International Airport on self-help basis and termed it a unique precedent for others to follow. Zaheer Abbas appreciated that Sialkot is globally known for its quality products and craftsmanship."Sialkot is also my identity",he added.
In his address of welcome President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Fazal Jilani said that the construction of a five star hotel near Sialkot International Airport was under consideration.
SCCI President informed the house that private sector of Sialkot would launch its own 'Sial Airline' next year,adding the step was being taken to ensure inexpensive travelling facilitates for general public and business community of Sialkot and adjoining areas.
