Board of Governors (BoG) has allowed Pakistan Cricket Board to seek help from veteran Pakistani players for taking important decisions regarding Pakistan cricket.
Pakistani legendary players Wasim Akram and Rameez Raja are likely to join PCB as an advisor to PCB chief Shahryar Khan.
According to local media reports, Decision of appointing two efficient cricketers as advisers of PCB chairman was taken during the 37th meeting of (BoG) on Tuesday in Lahore. (BoG) were of the opinion that PCB is under serious criticism that there is no professional cricketer in BoG which seriously is very alarming situation for the Board.
The biggest decision taken by the Board was to allow Shahryar Khan, the PCB chairman, to pick and choose two eminent cricketers as his advisors.
There were several names into consideration but PCB is keen to sign Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja to fill in this position. Though, both have tough schedule due to their commentary job but these advisers can be called to BoG meeting when required.
