Rashid Latif, the former Pakistan captain has suggested Pakistan cricket team, not to lose hope after losing second Test opposite Sri Lanka by 7 wickets.
However, Sri Lanka came out on top in their race against rain by reaching the 153-run target in just 26.3 overs for a loss of three wickets.
According to local media reports Latif said, “All isn’t lost for Pakistan, so they must not panic. Instead, they should focus on the third Test as there is still a chance to win the series”.
Latif went on to explain that Pakistan almost made up for the first-innings 138-all-out horror by playing better in the second-innings. “The likes of Younus Khan and Misbah failed to click; if they had, Pakistan would have added 100 more runs to their target,” he added.
Azhar Ali and Yasir Shah put-in splendid performances. It’s Pakistan and Sri Lanka's longest series during summer 2015 and both teams are battling it out during the hot weather of June-July. Both teams will play T20 matches on July 30 and August 1, 2015 at Colombo.
