LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 36.58 point as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3987.05 and closed at 4023.63 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 3.278 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.523 million shares, showing a downward slide of 2.244 million shares. While, out of the total 107 active scrips 18 moved up, 27 down values and 62 remained equal.
Treet Corporation Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Koh-e-Noor Textile Mills were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 3.32, Rs. 1.47 and Re 1.00 respectively. Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Lucky Cement Limited and The Hub Power Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs. 1.50, Rs. 1.30 and Re 0.88 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 735,500 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 586,500 shares and Karachi Electric Supply Company Limited with 434,000 shares.
