KARACHI: As many as 6,000 unemployed youths from the province of Sindh would be sent to Malaysia for jobs.
This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Transport, Akhtar Hussain Jadoon.
He said on Wednesday that these youngsters are being sent under the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Programme (SBBYDP).
The authorities in Malaysia have promised provision of employment to these youngsters, it was further stated.
The Project Director Youth Programme would submit recommendations to the Provincial Coordinator of Youth Programme, Karim Bux Siddiqui, in a couple of days time.
These would later be forwarded to the Technical Committee, it was further stated.
Karim Bux Siddiqui informed that the 6,000 youngsters would be imparted 20 days training.
The training would pertain to Malay language and dissemination of information regarding Malaysian culture.
Training would be arranged in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah districts.
