Futures spread up by 912 basis points

The futures spread increased by 912bps to 3.47 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter slightly improved as average daily volumes increased by 17.7 percent during this week to 62.81 million shares. Average daily trading value on the future counter inched up by 8.9 percent to Rs 2.429 billion during this week.
