A visit to Pakistan’s first street Boxing club

Pakistan has vast boxing potential, especially in old city areas of Karachi. However the craze of boxing is growing up rapidly in the metropolis as the locals have now established a street boxing club.

Lyari, an old city area of provincial capital of Sindh, is known for sports such as football and boxing, and you can still see many football and boxing clubs in the area.

But this boxing club is not located in Lyari, it is situated in Allah Wali Colony.

Former international boxer of Pakistan, Khawar Din Afridi has established this club and teaching the art of boxing for free.

Talking to Aaj TV he said, when I started the club, I had only two to three students, and now their number have increased over 50.
