ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to hold by-election in PK-8 on May 12 and issued schedule.
According to ECP spokesman,nomination papers will be filed from April 6 to 7 whereas the verification process will be completed on April 12.
The candidates can file their appeals to the tribunal against the decisions of the returning officers until April 14 and the tribunals would decide on their appeals until April 18.
The final list of candidates will be published on April 20.
The seat was vacated due to the death of Pakistan Muslim league (N) MPA Arbab Akbar Hayat.
