ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) S.M. Munir would visit Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mardan on August 14 (Friday) to highlight the efforts of the government for promotion of trade.
"I am visiting all important chambers of commerce and industry across the country on the special directive of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to take all stakeholders into confidence for further improvement in trade development in line with the international standard," S.M. Munir told APP here Thursday,
He said that salient features of the prudent trade policy being pursued by the government would be highlighted and viable proposals and recommendations of the stakeholders would be given due consideration and weightage. He said "I is personally monitoring the overall performance of officials of the TDAP and directed them to achieve the desired results."
S.M. Munir said that all possible efforts were being made to facilitate exporters for display of their quality products at expeditions abroad. He said still there is vast scope for marketing of Pakistani products abroad.
President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mardan Abreen Khan Hoti will present welcome address and point out the difficulties being confronted by women exporters while introducing Pakistani products abroad.
Former President Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Haji Nasim Ur Rehman, who is also Vice Chairman UBG North Zone would host a luncheon in honor of TDAP chief and the high level visiting 20-member delegation of United Business Group, comprising its chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik, Chairman Diplomatic Committee of FPCCI Malik Sohail Hussain, FPCCI vice presidents Mian Akram Farid, Hameed Akhtar Chadda, Abdul Rauf Alam, group leader Islamabad and other trade leaders.
Later, S.M. Munir would also chair another meeting with trade leaders of Khyber Pakthunkhwa to work out strategy for contesting forthcoming annual chamber election and nomination of highly educated most suitable candidates enjoying highest degree of integrity, coupled with spirit of serving the business community.
