flower exhibationKARACHI: A three-day flower exhibition commenced on Monday at the District Municipal Corporation South, Karachi.

The event is a part of the `Hamara Karachi, Hamara Pakistan Festival'.

According to organizers, a number of species of flowers were put on display.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Member of the Sindh Assembly, Tahir Qureshi.

Administrator DMC South, Muhammad Raisi, and Municipal Commissioner, Noman Arshad, were also present on the occasion.

Tahir Qureshi praised the efforts of the organizers for holding such events.

He said that the flowers and plants help tackling the problem of pollution and improve environment and contribute towards the beautification.
