Halle Berry rushed to hospital after on-set accident

KARACHI: Hollywood Actress Halle Berry has been taken to hospital after an on-set injury. Berry was filming her new film “The Hive” when she took a bad fall and smashed her head on concrete. A nearby ambulance whisked the actress away to Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

The 45-year-old actress was working on a new movie in which she stars alongside Abigail Breslin and David Otunga. The set was shut down following the accident.

It is the second time this month an actress has been injured on a set.

Kristin Chenoweth was recently rushed to hospital after being hit by a piece of lighting equipment on the set of “The Good Wife”.

Her injuries were believed to be minor and she was soon released from the Bellevue Hospital in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, New York.

Chenoweth, who has also appeared in “Glee” later thanked fans for wishing her well.

Her representative said: “Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes.”
