KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has deplored the blast in Abbas Town in Karachi and expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow over the deaths of innocent people.
In a statement issued by MQM on Sunday, Altaf while condemning the blast, said that the elements which were carrying out such acts were not even worthy of being called human beings.
Altaf Hussain extended sympathies to the affected people and urged them to take steps for protecting themselves.
He directed the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation to take every step to provide treatment to the injured and console the families of the people who died in the blast.
He offered his condolences over the loss of lives in the blast in Abbas Town and prayed Allah to shower His blessings on the souls of the people who lost their lives.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
