Industrial units, captive power plants: Two-day closure of gas in Sindh

KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced that the supply of gas to all the industrial units and captive power plants in Sindh province will remain closed for two days from Sunday.

The SSGC spokesperson said that the gas supply to all the industrial units and captive power plants in Sindh province will remain closed from Sunday, September 16, from 07:00am to 07:00am on Tuesday, September 18, for 48 hours.

The SSGC Spokesperson said the curtailed gas supply from different gas fields had caused depletion of line pack and had resulted in low pressure in the system. In this view, the supply of gas to all industrial units and captive power plants in Sindh provinces will remain closed for two days.
