Pop singer Annie ties the knot

KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani Pop Artist Annie Khalid, popularly known as just ‘Annie’, married Malik Naveed Awan, a Dubai-based Pakistani Businessman over the weekend.

Her Manager Faisal, confirmed the news to the press in a statement. “It was a simple gathering and only family members participated in it,” he said.

The Manager has said that no friends or celebrities were invited to the event. However, friends and other personalities will be invited to the Rukhsati festivities scheduled for after the holy month of Ramadan.

Annie debuted with her famous single ‘Mahiya’ in 2005. Since then she has taken part in various musical projects including a few collaborations with some international artists.
