imageUpcoming Hollywood superhero flick ‘Captain America: Civil War’ is already looking like it could be the biggest blockbuster of 2016. It currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Many popular critics have also ranked it best Marvel movie so far.

In Civil War, super heroes are forced to stand and be held accountable for the death and destruction they've caused after the events of the first two Avengers movies. A coalition of 117 nations have banded together to create the Sokovia Accords, which would effectively retire the Avengers unless specifically called upon. Captain America (Chris Evans) worries putting their powers into the hands of people/countries with political agendas would be disastrous, while Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) gets a close-up look at the terrible cost of these battles and decides to sign.

Look what critics has been saying about ‘Captain America; Civil Wars’.

Justin Chang, Variety

It ranks as the most mature and substantive picture to have yet emerged from the Marvel Cinematic Universe … Even more impressively, the film feels sincerely invested in the questions it raises about freedom vs. responsibility, heroism vs. vigilantism, and what those distinctions say about the individuals making them.

Jen Yamato, the Daily Beast

This might be the first time a superhero movie has captured what superheroes should look like in hand-to-hand combat—not floating on wires or clouds of pixels, but delivering crushing blows and super-powered punches that remind us these are superbeings on Earth and not cartoon characters in a video game.

Jim Vejvoda, IGN

Without a doubt, Civil War’s airport battle sequence is the best superhero brawl ever depicted on the big screen. It is a comic book fan’s wet dream, with every character getting a moment to shine in battle.

The Playlist

It would be a stretch to call this third Captain America film a drama, but far more than most comic-book films, this is a story of conflict between people, building on the history of Marvel's cinematic universe. And the old affection between the two heroes amplifies their new enmity which only further draws the audience in.

Game Spot

Marvel has spent the last six years laying the foundation for Captain America: Civil War, and it pays off huge here. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and the other characters we know and love have spent a lot of time honing their characters into finely tuned machines, both literally and emotionally; indeed, without seeing that history play out on the big screen in previous films, their big showdown in Civil War would feel hollow and contrived. Tony and Cap are both on the right side in Civil War. And you'll agree with both of them because of how damn likable they all are.

USA Today

Civil War is the most epic Avengers movie so far, even though it’s not an Avengers movie. The divided team allows many character moments for the android Vision (Paul Bettany), newer heroes Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and mainstays Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and War Machine (Don Cheadle).

The movie also features the impressive introductions of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), a Wakandan prince bearing claws and a grudge, and a new Spider-Man (Tom Holland). Previous movies have had issues balancing the youthful banter and scientific confidence of the comic-book wallcrawler, but Holland nails the role in every aspect.
