Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reportedly upset with Priyanka Chopra for tweeting about a dance number in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ which features her and Deepika Padukone.
Last week, Chopra tweeted about a dance track which will have her and her co-star Deepika shaking their legs together. It was previously reported that the director was trying his best to keep details of the film under wraps, and even took some precautions on set to make sure no confidential information was leaked out.
A big publicity campaign was planned around the film’s climactic dance number being choreographed by Remo D’Souza and featuring the two ‘Bajirao Mastani’ divas Deepika and Priyanka. Announcing it through tweets was certainly not Mr Bhansali’s idea of breaking the film’s big story, Indian media reported.
Another media outlet stated that the news about the lavni dance-off between the two divas is false. It will be a folk dance. “We don’t know how or why this misinformation has been spread. And if Priyanka Chopra wrote about it, it is strange she doesn’t know which dance form she is performing”.
The film that stars Ranveer Singh as the male lead is touted to release on December 25 this year.
