Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone looks spontaneous in the different roles that she has portrayed, now the actress has been putting in all the efforts in her upcoming film ‘Bajirao Mastani’. The actress is expected to wear 20 kg armour in her next.
‘Bajirao Mastani’ is a story based on the life of Maratha Warrior Peshwa Baji Rao. The movie also features Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Aditya Pancholi, who will play the antagonist in the film. In 'Bajirao Mastani', the actress is expected to wear 20 kg armour. Earlier for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram-Leela’, Deepika had worn a 30 kg lehenga.
The ‘Happy New Year’ actress will be essaying the character of half Lucknowi courtesan who fought in battles. She will break away from the trendy look to sport bulky armour for the battle sequences. Deepika is also said to have been taking lessons in sword fighting and martial arts too. She is undergoing extensive training to pull it off with ease while wearing her heavy outfit, Indian media reported.
‘Bajirao Mastani’ is co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Eros International and stars Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh apart from Deepika Padukone.
