Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Brothers’ was initially set to release on October 2015, but the producer of the film Karan Johar has pre-poned its release to July 2015.
Karan Johar, who is co-producing the film, says the energy of the shoot has been incredible and major part of the movie has already been shot that’s why they took this step.
According to Indian media reports, the movie went on floors in September this year and since most of it has already been shot, it will be completed way before the originally scheduled release date of October 2. The new release date of July 31 was set for the release of Akshay’s home production ‘Singh is Bling’ but when Karan Johar spoke to him about the release, Akshay, who is thrilled about his upcoming Dharma project, offered his July date to him.
Directed by Karan Malhotra and Produced by Dharma Productions, the movie stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles.
The movie has now been slated for July 31, 2015 release.
