Special screening of Anil Kapoor’s iconic movie ‘Mr India’ has been held for students and staff of ‘Indiana University’ of U.S. Anil Kapoor flew to Indiana last week especially for the screening of his ever-green movie along with eternal beauty Sridevi.
Even after all these years, ‘Mr India’ still remains the most popular film of Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Amrish Puri who played the iconic arch-villain Mogambo. The film was screened for the students, teachers and staff of Indiana University.
As source revealed that, the audience watched Shekhar Kapur-helmed fantasy-comedy with rapt attention. This was followed by an interactive session with the audience where Anil was made to answer innumerable questions.
Anil Kapoor said, “I had as many questions for them as they had for me. Understandably, they were not only asking about ‘Mr. India’, but also about my other films, about my life and career. They wanted to know if we were going to do a sequel and who would play the roles,” media reported.
Recollecting the whole process of making the film, Anil Kapoor said, “Shekhar Kapur and I had lots of arguments. But it was finally worth it. There is a timeless quality to the film”.
Kapoor watched the movie along with the students and faculty member of the University and felt ‘amazing’ even after several years of its release. He also praised the acting of late Amrish Puri as ‘Mogambo’.
