According to the Hindustan Times Bollywood director Farah Khan is planning to release a teaser of her upcoming film ‘Happy New Year’ at the IPL gala dinner in UAE.
The dinner, to mark the opening of Indian Premier League, will also see Bollywood bigwigs including Madhuri Dixit and Deepika Padukone.
Meanwhile Shah Rukh Khan, who is owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, will be the chief guest at the party, to be held at the Emirates Palace on April 15th.
Reports reveal the three stars may even perform at the gala dinner.
The Hindustan times quoted a source as saying, "the shooting for the film Happy New Year is almost over, except for a few portions which need to be finished. Shah Rukh is producing the film and his team is looking after the marketing and promotional activities for it.”
“They have some strategies that they are working on, and one of them is releasing a 10- or 15-second teaser at the IPL gala dinner. In fact, SRK, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Deepika Padukone may also be performing at the do."
‘Happy New Year’ will feature Khan and Deepika Padukone in the leads alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah in supporting roles.
