Where Samsung Galaxy S5 was an utter failure, Samsung has come up with another S-series which seems quite promising. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are by far the series biggest steps forward in terms of design.
With the Galaxy S6, Samsung made up for everything that was wrong with the S5.
According to foreign media reports, Both the S6 & S6 Edge will offer wireless charging, which is built right in. The wireless charging features will work with both WPC and PMA wireless charging standards, which is great news for travelers. In addition, Samsung claims that the S6 will fully recharge in half the time of the iPhone 6.
Samsung’s Galaxy S6 was designed from the ground up, and it is the first smartphone from Samsung to be made entirely of premium materials. The face and back are covered with Gorilla Glass 4, and the entire chassis including the sides and bottom are made of aluminum.
The rear camera on the Galaxy S6 is a 16-megapixel sensor with an F-Stop of f/1.9 and front camera is of 5-megapixel. This is the first Samsung phone to include the company’s latest Exynos chip, which is a 14-nanometer, 64-bit chipset that includes Octa-core 2.1GHz processor and an Octa-core 1.5GHz processor. The last couple of Galaxy Notes have had 3 GB of RAM, but the GS6 and GS6 edge are the first in the Galaxy S series to jump up to 3 GB RAM.
Samsung did terrific on phone design and this phone feels amazing in hand. It will be available in several parts of the world in April, 2015. However, the pricing policy of newly developed smartphone is yet to be announce.
