Pakistan’s popular morning show host Shaista Lodhi has tied the knot once again and this time to her cousin and a businessman in South Africa identified as ‘Adnan’.
Earlier on June 30, Shaista Lodhi tweeted a picture with an ayat from the Holy Quran. The post reads, “Quran; ‘then He has established relationships of lineage & marriage: for your Lord has power’ Alhumdulilah married”.
She also posted on her official Facebook handle to give details about her hush-hush wedding, she said, “I got married on the 30th of June to Adnan Lodhi who belongs to my family and won the hearts of my parents and elders’ that turned into a proposal for me. He is the first Pakistani auctioneer of Arts in South Africa and has been a source of courage and comfort to my children and me. The wedding was a very small and close family affair to make sure I enjoyed my wedding the most. Of all the things that I am thank full for, my role as a wife and a life partner is definitely the one that intrigues me the most”.
The newly-wed bride divorced her last husband Dr Waqar Wahidi in 2012 with whom she has three children.
Shaista Lodhi, who once entered into controversy related to blasphemy, will now be seen again on Hum TV with another morning show.
