Warne lost a bet to Sourav Ganguly

The King of Spin Shane Warne has lost his Champions Trophy bet with India rival Sourav Ganguly during the India-Bangla

The King of Spin Shane Warne has lost his Champions Trophy bet with India rival Sourav Ganguly during the India-Bangladesh game.

The legendary leg-spinner followed through on his Champions Trophy bet and donned the ODI shirt of England.

In a video Warne said he was "in a world of hurt" after putting on the current England playing top.

Warne made the bet with former Indian skipper as the two former giants of the game were commentating on the England v Australia group match at Edgbaston.

Warne had tipped Australia to be the tournament’s finalist before the tournament – and it's notoriously poor weather – intervened, while Ganguly favoured England.

That escalated to a bet that the loser of the Group A clash would wear the colours of the side they did not back – England for Warne, Australia for Ganguly – and shout that night's dinner.

I'm in a world of hurt wearing this shirt right now, but a bets a bet so on with the England shirt ! #CT17

So when a Ben Stokes century lead England to a 40-run win that eliminated Steve Smith's team from the tournament with one defeat and two no results from their three Group A matches, Warne was quick to stump up.
