PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister and PML-N Provincial President Ameer Muqam Friday said that the federal government presented the balanced, pro-poor and welfare oriented budget 2017-18 which also carried sufficient relief for the government employees.

Giving his reaction at a public gathering after the budget speech, the PML-N leader said that federal government presented the record volume budget 2017-18 with major emphasis on promotion of social sectors, energy, welfare and establishment of lasting peace.

Muqam said that Pakistan would become Asian Tiger due to robust economic policies of Prime Minister, Muhammed Nawaz Sharif and today's budget unfolded by the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar manifested the same vision of the Prime Minister.

The PML-N leader said that the world economy bodies had acknowledged the economic policies of the present government at the global level adding that these were itself proof of the welfare oriented policies of the present government.

Later addressing a public meeting at Haripur, Ameer Muqam said that he is thankful to people of Hazara for reposing trust on PML-N in by-elections.

He congratulated Babar Nawaz for defeating PTI with 50 thousand votes in by-elections and said that leadership of PTI is upset over his victory.   He said that PTI chief Imran Khan should come out of his reverie to become Prime Minister and concentrate his energies to solve real problems of the masses.

Muqam said that PML-N would win next coming elections with majority owing to its accomplishment of record development works.
