image'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Johnny Depp reportedly spends $2M a month which has now become a big problem for the actor as he is heading towards bankruptcy.

Earlier this month, the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star sued his former business team at The Management Group (TMG) for $25 million in a fraud lawsuit. Depps former business managers counter-sued the actor on Tuesday claiming his lavish lifestyle that cost more than $2 million a month to maintain caused his recent financial troubles and that the star ignored their repeated warnings.

His former managers claimed they repeatedly warned Depp of his overspending, and even warned him to get a pre-nup before marrying Amber Heard, which ended up costing him a $7 million settlement. They also revealed, over $75 million were spend on 14 residences, including a 45-acre chateau in the South of France, a chain of islands in the Bahamas, multiple houses in Hollywood, several penthouse lofts in downtown Los Angeles and a horse farm in Kentucky, People.com reported.

They further added, $18 million has been spent to acquire and renovate a 150 foot luxury yacht, millions more buying and maintaining 45 luxury vehicles, $30,000 per month on expensive wines flown from all over the world. Tens of millions has been spent on a massive and extremely expensive art collection, including world class jewelry, about 70 collectible guitars and over 200 works by artists such as Warhol, Klimt, Basquiat, and Modigliani.

On the other hand, Depp's lawyer claimed that the company failed to properly pay his taxes on his behalf, made unauthorised loans, and overpaid for security and other services, costing him tens of millions of dollars and leading to financial trouble, of which he claims to have only become aware of in March of last year.

In a statement, TMG maintains that Johnny Depp alone was solely responsible for his extravagant spending. Over 17 years, The Management Group (TMG) did everything possible to protect the actor from himself.
