KARACHI: The draft of the new local government system 2013 is ready. This was stated by the Senior Minister of Sindh, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, here on Tuesday.
In a statement he said that the draft would be presented before the Supreme Court before September 15.
The Minister further stated that before presenting the draft in the Sindh Assembly all the political parties- both in and outside the Assembly, would be taken into confidence and after that it would be presented before the Assembly which would make the decision.
He was of the view that the new local government system would be for the entire province and not for supporting any single party.
Khuhro pointed out that in the new system the powers of the local government institutions have been determined.
