NAIROBI: The Central Bank of Kenya said on Thursday it was in the market to mop up 10 billion shillings ($116.01 million) in excess liquidity using repurcahse agreements (repos).
The regulator regularly absorbed liquidity in 2012 via repos, helping to prop up the local currency which ended the year down 1 percent against the dollar.
