It seems that the Islamic State is all over the heads of the United States as an Emirati man wearing traditional clothes was confronted by US police, after he was wrongfully accused as ISIS supporter.
An Emirati businessman, Ahmed al-Menhali, who was on a visit to Ohio, USA for medical treatment was wrongfully accused for supporting ISIS before he was pinned down to the ground by the US police, which also handcuffed him while filming the entire arrest.
According to Al Jazeera, the whole incident took place on Wednesday in Ohio Cleveland suburbs, when a clerk had her sister call 911 claiming that a man dressed in traditional Muslim clothing was on the phone and is pledging allegiance to ISIS.
The police soon realized its mistake and the man was released soon.
According to WAM state news agency, the government of United Arab Emirates has expressed outrage over the entire incident, and has taken unusual steps as it has advised its citizens not to wear traditional clothing while travelling abroad.
"For citizens traveling outside the country, and in order to ensure their safety, we point out not to wear formal dress while traveling, especially in public places," stated the UAE foreign Ministry at its Twitter account.
