NEW YORK: US crude oil exports reached 401,000 barrels per day in July, up from the 396,000 bpd in June, government data showed on Monday.
Exports to Canada fell to 373,000 bpd from 384,000 bpd in June, according to data from the US Energy Information Administration.
Meanwhile, 12,000 bpd went to Switzerland and 3,000 bpd were exported to Singapore.
Exports to Italy, the first on record with the EIA, reached 14,000 bpd.
The EIA sources its export data from the US Census Bureau, according to its methodology.
