ISLAMABAD: Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee and Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Dr. Farooq Sattar called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf here at the PM House on Friday and discussed overall political situation in the country.
The Prime Minister said that anti-state and extremist elements would not be allowed to disturb peace in the country.
The nefarious designs of the anti-state elements to fan sectarian divide would never succeed, he added.
The Prime Minister urged all political parties to cooperate with the federal and provincial governments, in their efforts to maintain peace and order during Moharram.
The Deputy Convener MQM assured the Prime Minister of his party's support and cooperation in the maintenance of peace and order.
