JAKARTA: Indonesia's central bank sees the economy expanding between 6.2 percent and 6.3 percent in the final quarter of the year amid a global slowdown, a top official told reporters on Friday.
Southeast Asia's biggest economy grew 6.2 percent in the third quarter, slowing down from 6.4 percent in the previous quarter.
"The economy in the fourth quarter would be better at around 6.2-6.3 percent. The impact from the global slowdown is dragging growth, but investment growth would stay strong," said Governor Darmin Nasution.
