imageThe second Test match at the MCG has produced a fascinating contest between Pakistan and the hosts Australia with the fate of the match hanging in the balance at the close of day three on Wednesday.

Pakistan after an aggressive batting display in the first inning and declaring at 443 for nine, were unable to capitalize as the much talked about bowling attack failed to pose any threat to the Aussie batting line up.

Even the Decision Review System (DRS) went horribly wrong for Pakistan.

Amir, who pitched one delivery in the right spot beating Warner comprehensively, made a huge appeal for a caught behind despite no show of enthusiasm from men behind the stumps but Amir felt he had the case there.

He then insisted captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who looked unconvinced but eventually called for the review.

The replay showed Misbah should have trusted his instincts, as the replays showed clearly that the ball was missing the bat with a huge margin and Warner eventually survived.

The visitors bizarre DRS review in Australias fifth over at the MCG has been dubbed by many as the worst of all time.

That was nowhere near the bat, he said in the Nine Network commentary box, reported Herald Sun. Even without looking at the slow-motion, you can see theres a huge gap between the bat and ball. I dont know what Sarfraz heard. What a waste of a review.

Warner then went on to frustrate Pakistan further, after he went on to pile a run a ball 144 runs.
