imageLegendary fast-bowler Wasim Akram believes that the presence of former Pakistani off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq will make a major difference in England’s performance in the second Test at Old Trafford on Friday.

According to a local media report, Akram said: “Saqlain Mushtaq's presence in the English camp will definitely make a difference to Pakistan as he knows ins and outs of our national team."

The former Test captain added, “Saqlain will tell English batsmen to tackle spinners especially Yasir Shah because he knows where and how to hit Pakistan.”

Pakistan’s 75-run victory in the first Test against England at Lord’s was a historic moment for Captain Misbahul Haq and his men. England has taken Pakistan's off-spin great Saqlain Mushtaq on board to help them decipher Yasir for the second Test.

However, Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah, whose match figures of 10 for 141 inspired Pakistan to a 75-run victory at Lord's. Wasim said, "English team will be careful of Yasir Shah. Yasir Shah is a great addition to Pakistan's bowling attack.”

Pakistan is currently leading 1-0 in the four-match series and they will play their second match against England at Old Trafford starting from Friday.
