LONDON: Kent high performance director Simon Willis is to leave the English county side for a similar role with Sri Lanka later this month, it was announced Monday.
"Very excited about this new opportunity and looking forward to working with everyone @OfficialSLC#1Team1Nation," tweeted Willis, a former Kent wicket-keeper who has been with the Canterbury-based club for 23 years.
The 42-year-old added: "23 amazing years @kentcricket which has played a big part in my life. Thanks to everyone. #specialmemories#greatfuture."
