imageOn Wednesday, former bowler Aaqib Javed has resigned from coaching post of United Arab Emirates (UAE) team after final settlement with Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) Lahore team.

According to local media report, the legendary bowler left the post after final settlement with Lahore Qalandars team as their director of cricket. However, the sources told that negotiation is underway to include the former cricketer in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) administration.

Aaqib Javed was appointed as coach to UAE team in 2012 that performed stunningly in Asia Cup under his guidance.

Earlier, Aaqib Javed refused to apply for the position claiming that the selection committee for the coach of the Pakistan cricket team which is comprised of former greats Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja has already made up their mind to hire a foreign coach for the national team.
