ISLAMABAD: Former England cricket coach and assistant coach of Peshawar Zalmi Andy Flower has said that all the teams are playing quality T-20 cricket in PSL matches.
Talking to Khaleej Times, he said that presence of world class players with young cricketers in dressing room was giving a great combination of experience and talent to the show.
"We have seen some exciting contests in the PSL so far and hope the game is going to the next level soon", he said.
"Pakistani youngsters have got an ideal platform to showcase their skills in the Pakistan Super League", he said.
He was of the view that some of the youngsters like Asghar of Zalmi and Nawaz from Quetta Gladiators have already announced their arrival on big stage.
"Asghar from our camp has bowled well and extracted a lot turn from this track and it is going to gain more confidence",he added.
He said that there was no a better way to learn the tricks of the trade than rubbing shoulders with big names in the game.
"The PSL will do to the Pakistani youth as the Indian Premier League has done to the Indian youngsters," Flower said.
To a question, he said that the Dubai pitch is known for helping spinners but this time around it is turning a bit more.
"Tony Hemming is an experienced curator and he always prepares wonderful pitches and I hope the spinning aspect will be taken care of," the former England coach added.
He said the beauty of T20 tournaments like the PSL is that it not only attracts top talent from around the world but also gives an opportunity to coaching staff as well.
