imageSohail Khan has been injured during a warm-up match against Bangladesh on Monday morning. He has been sidelined due to a calf problem. A surprise inclusion Sohail Khan took one wicket of Bangladeshi opener Anamul Haq and bowled six overs.

He headed out off the field and was replaced by Sarfraz Ahmed during the match at Sydney’s Blacktown Olympic Park Oval.

M. Hafeez left the squad due to the injury and Nasir Jamshed replaced him. Now Sohail Khan’s injury has mounted problems for 1992 World Cup champions.

According to local media reports, the injury is not so serious and team media officer said, “Sohail suffered a cramp in his calf muscle and as a precaution he did not bowl after six overs. He can still run without any problems and we hope he will be fine soon”.

Pakistan will play another warm-up match against England before they face its biggest opponent India on February 15, 2015.
