CHRISTCHURCH: Sri Lanka were 201 for three in their second innings at tea on the third day of the first Test on Sunday, trailing New Zealand by 102 runs in Christchurch.
Dimuth Karunaratne was unbeaten on 116 with Angelo Mathews on 12.
Tim Southee, Trent Boult and James Neesham each took a wicket for New Zealand.
