BERLIN: Turkish international striker Mevlut Erding has returned to France after joining Guingamp on loan from Hanover 96 for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old will hope the move can enable him to secure a place in the Turkey squad at Euro 2016 after a disappointing time in Germany following his 3.5 million-euro ($3.8 million, £2.6 million) transfer from Saint-Etienne in the summer.
Erding, who has won 33 caps for Turkey, was born in France and has also played for Sochaux, Paris Saint-Germain and Rennes.
