ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that ongoing multiple power projects will produce about twelve thousand megawatts of electricity by 2018.
Talking to editors in Lahore, he said the country will have sixteen thousand MW electricity by 2021. The Minister said PML-N believes in politics for progress of the country, and will continue its journey of development despite obstacles created by the detractors.
He said efforts are underway to provide employment, shelter, education and health facilities to the people by improving industrial and agricultural produce.
To a question about the Panama leaks, Pervaiz Rashid said terms of reference framed by the opposition for commission to probe the allegations were based on personal vendetta. He said the sit-in politics has harmed interests of the country and Pakistan does not afford it in future.
