ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Laws Review Committee here on Saturday.
The meeting had detailed discussion on the legislation which would now be placed before the Senate after passage by the National Assembly, said in statement issued by Ministry of Finance here on Saturday.
Proposals regarding pending legislation in the pipeline were also discussed and finalized.
The meeting discussed and finalized Terms of Reference (ToRs) of the Inquiry Commission being set up in pursuance of the announcement made by the Prime Minister to this effect.
The meeting also short-listed names of professionals for inclusion in the Inquiry Commission.
Minister for Law and Justice Zahid Hamid, Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rehman Khan, Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf Ali, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Law Barrister Zafarullah Khan and Secretary to Prime Minister Fawad Hassan Fawad attended the meeting.
